About the Author

Nuala Taaffe was born and raised in Sligo. Nuala dedicated 35 years to a career in education. She served as a primary school principal and is the former national director of the Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST), now under the auspices of Oide. Nuala holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Journalism at the School of Media, TU Dublin. Alongside her studies, she works as editor of TheCity.
