We are TheCity.ie, a multimedia news stream for and about Dublin, Ireland.

Founded in 2012 TheCity.ie is the official student news website for Technological University of Dublin’s School of Media. It is managed and run by undergraduate and postgraduate students in journalism at the Grangegorman campus, with stories published across the academic year.

TheCity.ie offers a mix of national and international news and current affairs stories, as well as coverage of arts, culture, sport, business and technology. We use the full range of media to tell our stories – print, photography, video and podcast.

Our students take on every aspect of the production process, including website design, story development, writing, shooting, video editing and sub-editing. We hope you enjoy our work, as much as we enjoy making it.
