Liam Murphy is a 22-year-old final year TU Dublin journalism student, freelance journalist, and photographer, with a keen interest in news, photography, and entertainment.

Throughout his time in college, he has learned various forms of journalism – print, radio, video, and photo, while also focusing on specific areas such as local news, global affairs, and investigative reporting.

To date, his work has been seen in the Business Post, Hot Press Magazine, the Irish Independent, the Liberty, Clic News, Alamy, Shutterstock, TU Dublin Student Union, and more.

Personal achievements include four Student Media (Smedia) Award nominations; Photographer of the year (2024), Sports photographer of the year (2024), and News Photographer of the Year (2023, 2024) and being part of a contingent representing TU Dublin at the 2023 Student Publication Association National Conference in Glasgow.
