Batman vs Superman: is there justice in the criticism?

Six weeks after its release date, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is now the  seventh highest grossing comic book film worldwide – but not without igniting another clash between film critics and comic book fans.

Critics were anything but gentle, calling the film “as diverting as having a porcelain sink broken over your head” (New York Times) and “a stink bucket of disappointment” (VOX), however fans acquainted with the comic books and the heroes’ backgrounds completely disagreed.

The City decided to go directly to the source – the viewers – and find out if there is any justice in the criticism the comic blockbuster received.
