Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan – TD for Roscommon/South Leitrim –  has put forward a private members bill in the Dáil for the decriminalisation of cannabis – similar to the line that many U.S states have taken in recent months.

I took to the streets of Dublin to find out what the general public view on the bill was, and whether they wished to see the law on cannabis amended.

  1. Cannabis has many medicinal benefits. The hemp from the plant is also extremely beneficial for many reasons. If those people who are against it being legal and those who are unsure just go and do a little research into proven fact pros and cons and not hearsay they will find themselves very surprised. This stuff can and does cure cancer. why is it not available for at least medical use if this is the case. Answer is unbelievable but if you do your research you will get your answers. Google Rick Simpson. Educate yourself before making your final decision.
