Thousands of people took to the streets of Dublin and Cork last week in protest of Ireland’s continued homelessness crisis.
Marches were organised on social media through a Facebook group called Protest against Homelessness in Ireland, which has over 67,000 members.
The protest comes on the back of Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy narrowly surviving a motion of no confidence, put forward by the Social Democrats in the Dail last week.
The latest figures from Focus Ireland show that 10,514 people are living without a home, 4,000 of which are children.
