Reporters Fantine Carron, Emily Goss Guildea and Samantha Dempsey took to the streets to find out if people were in the festive spirit this year.

Due to restrictions and guidelines constantly being changed, we wanted to know how people are feeling in the run up to Christmas. The importance of keeping the Christmas spirit alive during these times is crucial, as Christmas can be a lonely time for some. As well as that, businesses have suffered immensely due to the pandemic, so we wanted to find out where people are planning to do their Christmas shopping.
